WHO WE ARE

Leo Patriotis Ltd, a leading distributor of DIY, Hardware, Auto Care and Household products, is a family-run business founded in 1977 by Leonidas Patriotis. Guided by his vision and understanding of the automotive market's potential, the company introduced a line of Car Care and Automotive Chemical products which met consumer demand in Cyprus.

By the beginning of 1981, Leo Patriotis Ltd had successfully penetrated the automotive industry market and began exploring a broader range of products. A selection of new items was meticulously chosen to pave the way for a new channel specialization, leading to the creation of the DIY / Hardware sector of our company.

In 2005, our company expanded its operations by designing and introducing our own registered private labels in China. This strategic decision allowed us to broaden our product portfolio, by introducing car accessories, household, DIY and hardware products. Today, the company is a supplier of private-label products for Cyprus retailers as well as for other markets.

Today, we represent over 60 suppliers, which include international brands such as WD-40, Bison, UHU, Quilosa, Motip, Soudal, Master Lock, HPX, TurtleWax, Armor All, and STP, with a portfolio of more than 2000 products. Our strong reputation as market leaders is based on our commitment to maintaining the high quality of the products we distribute and the exceptional service to our clients.

We continuously grow our portfolio by introducing new brands and products that align with the evolving needs of our customers and consumers, as well as selecting innovative products and creating new demand.

OUR HISTORY

1977

Leonidas Patriotis sets a foundation in the market by introducing quality Car Care and Auto Chemical products.

1983

Leo Patriotis Ltd company is officially established.

1985

Entry into the Hardware sector with the introduction of new product lines.

1986-2003

Setting up a cohesive portfolio of high-profile brands.

2004

Company relocation to new offices and distribution centre.

2005

Began sourcing operations from China, creating own-brand lines with a selection of Household and Auto-Accessory products.

2008

Created a new distribution channel targeting the hypermarket sector.

2010

Establishment of our office facilities in China in the city of Ningbo.

2010-2018

Continuous expansion of portfolio through the addition of new brands as well as further development of our own brands.

2019

Acquired the internationally recognised TUV Austria ISO 39001:2012 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications for Road Traffic Safety and Quality Management Systems respectively.

2020

Company successfully upgraded and transitioned its operations to the SAP ERP software system.

2021

Collaboration with Eureka, a highly esteemed manufacturer of homecare and hygiene goods, for the distribution of our products to the hypermarket sector.

2022

Entering the industrial sector by launching specialized products tailored to meet the needs of each industry.

2023

Expanding our team in China to reinforce the company’s local connections and extend its product range.

2025

Launching of a new company website featuring our B2B e-shop.

With 25+ years of experience, the company efficiently provides high-quality technical self-adhesive tapes. Using advanced tape-converting processes, they produce tapes in any size, width, and material.
ZAP
