Technical Product Manager

Leo Patriotis Ltd is seeking a Technical Product Manager who will act as the company’s key point of reference for technical matters relating to our product portfolio, providing specialised support to both our Sales Team and customers.

The successful candidate will receive continuous technical training from our international suppliers and manufacturers, with the aim of developing in-depth knowledge of our products, their technical specifications, applications and correct use.

Position Objective

To act as the main technical link between our Sales Team, customers and suppliers, understanding the requirements of each application and recommending the most suitable product or technical solution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Product Applications

• Develop in-depth technical knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, applications and correct product use.
• Handle technical enquiries from the Sales Team and customers and recommend the most appropriate solution for each application.
• Provide technical guidance on the correct selection, preparation and use of products.
• Visit customers and application sites and conduct product demonstrations whenever required.
• Support the Sales Team during customer visits where technical expertise is required.

Supplier Cooperation & Claims Management

• Communicate directly with suppliers and their technical departments to identify the most appropriate product or solution for specific customer requirements.
• Collect, review and understand technical documentation, product specifications and certifications.
• Remain continuously updated on new products, technologies, product developments and improvements.
• Handle returns and complaints relating to defective or problematic products.
• Investigate technical and quality-related issues and cooperate with suppliers to identify the root cause and appropriate corrective solution.
• Prepare and submit claims to suppliers, including all necessary information, documentation, photographs and/or samples, and follow up until final resolution.

Training

• Participate in technical training programmes provided by suppliers and manufacturers.
• Organise and deliver product and application training to the Sales Team and customers.
• Act as the company’s internal technical advisor and key point of reference for product knowledge.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Construction Technology or another related technical field.
• Previous experience with construction materials, industrial products, adhesives, chemicals or related sectors will be considered an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding and problem-solving ability.
• Pleasant and approachable personality, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
• Very good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English.
• Very good computer skills.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel within Cyprus, as well as occasional travel abroad for technical training.
