Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or loose paint. Apply a single thin coat using a brush directly onto the rusted areas, ensuring corners and pitted areas are well treated.

A second coat may be needed if colour change is not observed within 30 minutes. Apply a topcoat after at least 3 hours, ideally the same day.
